The Friend Note is a notebook that records all the friends you have made on the Pocket Hello Kitty. It also lists the total number of steps you have taken since the device had a full reset.

Friend Note pages are ordered by when you meet each friend, starting with Mimmy and Kingyo-chan at the front. If you press A on a page in the friend note, you can see when you met that friend based on the first day you've played after a total reset. The date may not be exact based on how long you have been using the Pocket Hello Kitty. From Day 10 onward, only the tens digit is saved. For example, if you meet someone on the 12th day, it will show on the 10th day in your Friend Note. If you meet someone on the 23rd day, it will show as the 20th day in your Friend Note. When you reach the 100th day, only the hundredth digit changes, so a character you meet on the 123rd day will show as the 100th day in your Friend Note.
