====== Introduction ======

The main goal of the game to collect all possible friends in the [[Friend Note]] by encountering items in the [[Hello Kitty Forest]], which requires the currency Kitt in order to enter. By reaching 1,000,000 steps, you will unlock Flower Hello Kitty, essentially "beating" the game.  

The following is a general summary of the Pocket Hello Kitty game play and functions. 

===== Collecting Kitt =====

Kitt is the main currency for the Pocket Hello Kitty. The player collects Kitt at the following rate:

<code>40 Steps = 1 Kitt</code>

Kitts are used to enter the Kitty Forest.

<code>1 Trip = 25 Kitts</code>

This means that the user must walk 1000 steps in order to visit the Kitty Forest.

===== Acquiring Items in Hello Kitty Forest =====

During each visit to the [[Hello Kitty Forest]], the user has the opportunity to find an item or a special encounter. We will dive deeper into these interactions in other sections.

===== Item Chest =====

When you acquire an [[items|item]], the item is placed in a chest that's accessible through the top main menu. The chest can only carry 3 items at a time. If you visit the Kitty Forest while your chest is full, you won't be able to collect a new item—you will either find a chest of Kitts or a character encountered.

===== Item Animations =====

When Hello Kitty uses an item, shake the Pocket Hello Kitty to trigger a unique animation!

===== Making Friends =====

Hello Kitty can make new [[Friends|friends]] based on the items that she collects. Engaging with the item will trigger the opportunity to meet the character. 

===== Friend Note =====

The Friend Note is a notebook that lists all of the friendships you have made.
