====== Friends ======

There are 20 friends in total to collect, plus one special version of Hello Kitty. Two friends, Mimmy and Kingyo-san, are included in your [[friend_note|Friend Note]] by default. New friends can be acquired by using a 3 star [[Items|item]] and shaking the device a certain number of times or at certain intervals.

===== IMPORTANT NOTES =====

  * For the purposes of unlocking a character, a shake only counts when one animation transitions into another. If there is no change in animation, keep shaking! 
  * You must activate the animation BEFORE the Pocket Hello Kitty falls asleep. When the device falls asleep, the item is consumed.

| Flower Kitty | Flowers on top of Chest | 1,000,000 | When you reach 1,000,000 steps, a fanfare will play on screen, and you will automatically be redirected to the Chest screen where you can choose a pile of Flowers on top of the chest. Selecting the flowers plays a Congratulations screen and unlocks Flower Kitty. This is equivalent to "beating" the game. |
